Website Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 13 May 2026

These terms govern your use of www.gather.training and the services we sell through it. By using the site or booking with us you agree to them. If anything below is unclear, email hello@gather.training before you book.

1. Who we are

Gather Training (“Gather”) is a coaching studio based at 20 Cutter Lane, North Greenwich, London SE10 0XW. We provide small-group personal training, one-to-one personal training, fitness classes (Pulse, Pilates, Yoga), teen training (ages 12–17) and the Gather Academy personal-trainer mentorship programme.

2. Using the site

You agree to use this site lawfully and not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our servers, or any system or database connected to the site.
  • Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, etc.) to extract content from the site beyond what a normal browser would request, or to circumvent rate limits.
  • Submit false information through any form.
  • Use the site in any way that would damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone we believe is breaching these terms.

3. Bookings and payment

All bookings, memberships and packages are subject to the specific terms communicated to you at the time of purchase (price, duration, what's included, cancellation window). Where payments are processed online they go via our payment provider; we do not store card details on our own systems.

Foundations is the standard entry programme for all new members (£247 for three weeks at time of publishing). Pricing for ongoing training, packs and the Academy is confirmed in writing before you commit.

4. Cancellation and refunds

  • Initial calls: free, cancel any time from the calendar invite.
  • Single sessions:at least 12 hours' notice for a credit; later cancellations are charged in full so the coach's time isn't lost.
  • Foundations:if you change your mind within 14 days of purchase and have attended no sessions, we'll refund in full. Once Foundations starts, sessions can be rescheduled but the three-week block is non-refundable.
  • Ongoing memberships:one month's notice in writing to hello@gather.training.
  • Academy:deposit secures your place. If the cohort can't run we refund in full; otherwise the deposit is non-refundable.

5. Health, safety and assumption of risk

Physical training carries inherent risks of injury. Before you start with us we ask you to complete a Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) honestly. By booking sessions you confirm:

  • You are physically able to take part in the activity, or you have appropriate medical clearance.
  • You will tell your coach about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or medication that could affect your training.
  • You will follow your coach's instructions during every session.
  • You will stop and tell your coach immediately if you feel pain, dizzy, faint, or unwell.

Our coaches are qualified Level 3 personal trainers (or higher) and insured. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

6. Teens (12–17)

A parent or guardian must complete the booking form, consent to participation, and provide emergency contact details. We will not coach under-18s without that consent on file. The teen programme follows the same safeguarding standards as the rest of the studio.

7. Code of conduct

We're a small community gym. We expect everyone in the building — members, staff, and guests — to be respectful, supportive and considerate. We reserve the right, without refund, to ask anyone to leave who is abusive, discriminatory, intoxicated, or who otherwise makes the space uncomfortable for others.

8. Intellectual property

All text, photography, video, branding and code on this site is owned by Gather Training (or licensed to us). You may share links to our pages and quote short snippets with attribution, but you may not republish, redistribute, or train AI/ML models on substantial portions of our content without written permission.

9. Third-party links

The site contains links to third-party platforms (Instagram, YouTube, our booking widget, our class schedule provider). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gather is not liable for:

  • Any loss or damage that is not foreseeable at the time you bought a service from us.
  • Loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
  • Loss or damage caused by you not following coach instructions or training advice.

None of this affects your statutory consumer rights or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described separately in our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at gather.training/terms with the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes affecting active members are also communicated by email.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
